Recently,the Harmony Application DevelopmentTutorial written by Professor Zhong Yuansheng from the School of Software and Internet of Things Engineering of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics and his postgraduate team was published and distributed by Tsinghua University Press.

　Since the official debut of the Hong Meng OS in June 2021, Professor Zhong Yuansheng and his team immediately embarked on analyzing the Harmony programming methodology and writing instructional materials to help teachers and students with an essential background in Java or Android quickly acquire the software development skills of Harmony.

　"The publication of the book Harmony Application Development Tutorialis an effort to help China's indigenous operating systems enter the world mainstream market as soon as possible, and it is also an initiative of the teachers and students of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics to respond to the development needs of the country." Professor Zhong Yuansheng said that the publication of this tutorial would help strengthen the software ecosystem of the Harmony operating system, which enterprises lead in China, and solve the dilemma of "lack of chip and soul."

　Harmony Application Development Tutorial consists of chapters on Harmony OS Introduction and Environment Building, Harmony OS Interface Programming Basics, Harmony OS Event Handling, Ability and Intent, Data Management, Public Events, Notifications, and Logging and Comprehensive Cases, with exercises and rich digital teaching resources in each chapter. In addition, the textbook combines theoretical knowledge with practical application by presenting common examples of mobile applications and linking relatedlearning.

　In the future, the team will develop related MOOC online courses to help more Harmonylovers.
