Dr. Rong Hu of the School of Software and Internet of Things Engineering Publishes Important Research Findings in IEEE TASLP, an A-Ranked Journal Recommended by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence

Recently, Dr. Rong Hu, a faculty member of the School of Software and Internet of Things Engineering, published a research paper entitled“Role-Pair Event Tracing Graph for Joint Document-Level Event Extraction”in the internationally renowned journal IEEE Transactions on Audio, Speech, and Language Processing(TASLP).Addressing the challenges of error propagation caused by independently performing subtasks and the insufficient utilization of argument association semantics across multiple events in document-level event extraction, the study proposes a novel Role-Pair Event Tracing Graph (RP-ETG) and a joint extraction model.
This research achievement by Dr. Rong Hu provides a new perspective and effective methodology for document-level event extraction in natural language processing. It carries important theoretical significance and practical value and has attracted broad attention from the academic community.
